Hi, I’m Xabier Jauregi, a Software Engineer from Spain. I’ve been professionally developing software since 2018, currently working at the European Patent Office (EPO) on internal projects as a Senior Frontend Engineer, where I also contribute to software architecture.

I specialize in building web and mobile applications using React, React Native, and TypeScript, creating solutions that are scalable, efficient, and user-friendly. I enjoy solving problems independently and digging deep to understand how things work behind the scenes. My work style is structured and collaborative, which allows me to tackle complex projects while effectively working with teams.

Outside of my professional work, I pursue several side projects that reflect my passion for development, including Chromemory, TrainingMeetups, and CarbuSpain. These projects let me experiment, learn new technologies, and push the boundaries of what I can create.

When I’m not coding, I’m usually outdoors. I’m an active triathlete, competing in races regularly, and I also enjoy mountain skiing. These activities keep me motivated, disciplined, and always seeking new challenges—qualities I bring into my work as a developer.
